Basilika is a phenomenal dance artist and excellent choreographer and teacher who has gained recognition for her talents by the international communities withtin 5 continens. She also design and made the costumes, and composed the music herself.

 

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her first dance performance was at age 5, she started to to enter dance classes at age 9, and won first prize at a local ballet competition at age 13.

 

In 2011 she performed her solo work Lady Snake was awarded 'Beautiful and Innovative dance performance' by Women International Club,Jakarta.

 

within 2011-2014 she had been invited for her works to Berlin, Germany ; Canberra, Australia ; Seoul,South Korea ; Outukumpu, Finland ; Cape Town and Pretoria,South Africa ; Athens,Greece ; Montreal,Canada ; Tokyo,Japan and Jakarta,Indonesia.

 

She won gold medal of the Dance World Cup 2013 for her original solo work in Montreal Canada.

 

Basilika was qualified through auditions to several prestigious companies such as American Ballet Theater Summer program,USA (2009), Yang Li Ping Dance Troupe, China(2012),and Cirque du Soleil,Canada (2013).

 

She had been a proud member of International Dance Council CID-UNESCO(2012-2014), Royal Academy of Dance,UK (2012-2013)and Stage Director and Choreographer Society,USA(2012-2013).

She also teach at several international schools in Jakarta.
